Farewell to beautiful Hummocky Island.

Cape Capricorn to Hummocky Island

 Zigzag between Fairway and Ship Rock to get to the picturesque northern bay on Hummocky Island.

Crossing the Tropic of Capricorn

Tropic of Capricorn (23 degrees 30 minutes south of the equator) runs just south of Cape Capricorn.

After a 51 mile trip, we anchored near a  yellow patch of sand (but not Yellow Patch) at Cape Cap.

Last Night at Pancake Creek

With high tide just before sunset we shifted just inside the creek mouth to facilitate early morning exit en route to Cape Capricorn.
