A very cruise-y run from Big Woody Island to the Burnett River left us with not much to do other than practice taking selfies and dream of the moment in ten or so hours when we would get to use the steering wheel to turn left.
As is the way, such over confidence is a direct message to the sea gods that you are in need of a poke in the eye. Full moon plus biggest tides of the year means be careful even when entering a marina berth allocated by vessel draft.
As the guy said after helping us attach to the fuel dock instead after running aground trying to enter our berth, "at least you can't sink your boat 'round here "
Anyhow, all good and off to visit the sights of Burnett Heads.
Bloody awesome pics…keep ‘em coming. Some really nice weather even though crisp…
