GKI to NKI

Another great place. North Keppel Island is run by the National Parks so is a bit wilder than GKI. Plenty of walks, turtles, dugongs, reef sharks and fish.
We seem to be in a habit of leaving the bug spray on the boat when we hike off into the wilderness. For a while there I thought Jean's tan was coming along nicely until I realized it was just the insect bites on her legs had merged.
We have managed to add to our dwindling supplies with a few fish meals and home-grown bean sprouts but as yet to discover any caches of beer on the island.
Mmm. Garfish was delicious but next time I will fillet them. Leaving those tiny rib bones as a puzzle for the consumer turned out not to be a crowd pleaser.
